It took a while, but it finally happened – an environmentally friendly car is being released that does not in any way resemble a small fridge and is actually quite cool. Yes, this stunning looker is going to turn some heads.

Austin-based automotive design and manufacturing company Ronn Motor's has built the Scorpion; a hydrogen fuel injected hybrid.

The vehicle utilizes new 'hydrogen on demand' technology, which, simply put, generates water from the inbuilt tank, turns it into hydrogen and then injects this into the car's system.

Not only does this approach allow fuel mileage to increase by between 20 to 40%, it also reduces carbon emissions to nearly zero. Couple this with its exclusive styling, and the Scorpion is sure to be a strong contender in the exotic performance car segment.

The Scorpion is out early 2009 and can be yours for a tidy $150,000. Go on, do it for the planet.

Bilk es una bebida alcohólica producida en la cervecería Abashiri en Hokkaidō, Japón. Se compone de cerveza y leche, de ahí su nombre (Beer y Milk). Se produce mediante la adición de levadura de cerveza y lúpulo en la leche y se mantiene la mezcla a una temperatura inferior al punto de ebullición.

Se vende en botellas de 330 ml. desde el 1 de febrero del 2007 en una bodega de Nakahara a un precio de 380 yenes por botella, (U$ 3.50).

Ouch, I just missed this blingy Porshce baby by a couple of days as I have recently compiled a list of 12 incredible bling-bling vehicles. Wish it was bought to my notice earlier, I would have definitely found a parking place for it on my dazzling list. However, better late than never, here is the second Golden Porsche that has dared to travel the gilded route. Much is know about the previous Gold Boxter but all that we know about this one is that this jazzed Porsche 911 is from Russia. The filthy rich owner definitely has tons of cash strewn around to load it with 40 pounds of the pure gold. It seems only Porsche wasn’t enough for the guy hence he got it decked up to look like it is covered with golden plates! Roll over for more glitzy images.....

Dejando en claro este Ego Trippin’ que a Snoop Dogg aún le queda cuerda para rato y muchos cartuchos por quemar, algo notable teniendo en cuenta que ya lleva más de 15 años en el juego.

UnoCycle: una moto de una sola rueda

Según puede leerse en la Web del fabricante, este extraño “motociclo” eléctrico puede desplazarse a una velocidad de hasta 65 Km/h, aunque está previsto que se lo conduzca a unos 15 m/h. Estrictamente hablando no tiene solo una rueda: son dos, una a la par de la otra. Suponemos que esto ayuda al usuario a que el vehiculo no caiga hacia los costados.

El usuario ocupa una posición similar a la que tendría si fuese montado en una motocicleta convencional, y el equilibro se mantiene gracias a la acción de unos acelerómetros, que sensan a cada instante la posición del centro de gravedad del conjunto vehiculo-pasajero y ajustan la velocidad.

No hay dudas: es un vehiculo muy extraño.

El control es similar al de un Segway, y se basa en la inclinación del cuerpo del piloto. Si te inclinas hacia delante, el sistema de control de la motocicleta hará que acelere, buscando mantener el equilibrio. Y de la misma manera, si desplazas el peso hacia atrás, el vehiculo se frenará.

Oasis acpublicarán su nuevo disco el próximo 6 de octubre.

El álbum, que llevará por título Dig out your soul, es el séptimo disco de su carrera y el último intento del grupo por reflotar una carrera que no termina de levantar cabeza: desde que publicaron su Be here now en 1997, el grupo mancuniano no ha logrado el ansiado éxito de crítica y público.

Grabado en los estudios Abbey Road y remezclado en Los Ángeles, el disco, en palabras de Noel Gallagher, tiene un sonido «más hipnótico».

El primer singje, The shock of lightning se edita el próximo 29 de septiembre.

The fluro/rainbow color trend is still moving off the RTW catwalks and into accessories with a bang (or should we say a splash?). We're loving this Italian range watches, amusingly dubbed the "Toy Watch" which comes in blindingly bright selection of primary and fluro colors. So enamored are we that we're predicting that the Toy Watch could be the new Rayban Wayferer.

If its presence on the streets on London is anything to go by (it's on the wrist of every second hipster in West London), world domination can only be imminent.

MGMT - Oracular Spectacular

Son una banda que acaba de debutar en formato largo con un disco en el que se une el electro con esa locura psicodélica de los Flaming Lips. Gran parte de culpa de este sonido la tiene Dave Fridmann, que repite en Oracular Spectacular los mismos trucos de producción que tantas veces le hemos visto ya: baterías distorsionadas y mil teclados con eco, todo rebotando para sacar chispas.

Fridmann también pone a disposición de MTGM todo un arsenal de sus mejores trucos en el single de Oracular Spectacular, esta Time To Pretend que luce como las mejores joyas. Sí, ya nos sabemos a qué suenan las canciones en las que Fridmann meten mano, pero MGMT dan aquí con muchos ganchos.

La primera vez que la oí, me pareció lo mismo de siempre, pero no he podido evitar que esa línea de teclado se me metiera en la cabeza. Por si fuera poco, estos neoyorquinos dan con una letra que le vendría que ni pintado a Pete Doherty: “Lets make some music, make some money, find some models for wives/I’ll go to Paris take some heroin and fuck with the stars”.

Con MGMT, de momento, no ha llegado la hora de fingir.

BMW's GINA Concept: A Whole New Kind of "Convertible"

The new GINA Light Visionary Model concept by BMW is a whole new kind of convertible that's a shape-shifter of sorts. The body of the car is made up of a flexible fabric that's stretched over a movable metal frame, so the car actually changes it's shape based on what features you activate. For example if you turn the headlights on the front end rearranges itself to expose the them and allow the light to reach the road, but when you're not using the headlights they remain hidden. Same with the doors, you can't see them unless you're using them.

No word on when (or if) this car will go into production, and when (or if) it does what kind of price point we're looking at. But if it does ever come into existence will you be interested in owning one? I kinda would be, as long as all that fabric doesn't start to flap around and make noise when driving at interstate speeds.
